Budapest info
Budapest has 2 million inhabitants and is located on the banks of the Danube River. One side is called Buda and the other one is Pest. This beautiful city is an ideal place for the older generation, who like to explore historical sights and attend cultural events, such as the Budapest Spring Festival and the Opera Ball, and for younger generations, who enjoy the busy inner city with all their clubs and cafés and the music festivals such as the Sziget Festival. The downtown area of Budapest is mainly within the city's 5th district, where attractions like the Parliament, the Opera House, Chain Bridge, Basilica and Váci utca can be found. Budapest is also a great place for leisure with more than 15 thermal spas and huge public parks - the Margaret Island and the City Park are safe and clean.
